    At last! A pair of boots wide enough for my feet and for comfort! And they look good too. Having searched for a long time for boots like these, they are now my favourite ones and I can wear thick socks with them too. Be sure to go with the fitting instructions as they are accurate. I am a size 5 normally but ordered a size 4 as per instructions and they were perfect. Just waiting for the black ones to come back into stock in July

    Quite expensive but it is worth the money for me. I have never found such a wide shoe before. I have never worn shoes that were roomy before. These shoes were actually a little too big becayse I did not trust the size guide but I should have done! I wear these with a pair of thick socks in the freezing cold and I have never been able to do that before. It feels like someone hugged a sore part of my heart and kissed it better. I could cry with relief for these shoes. I don't know how to thank you for supplying shoes that I can wear! My feet are badly wide with possibly deformities. A medical professional suggested this web site as a last resort before specially made shoes. I'm not even old. I live these boots. Will buy more shoes from here for warmer weather when it comes...

    Very comfortable boot, fits closely around leg above ankle which is what I wanted, not "gappy" at all which is what I didn't want. Good for wearing with skinny jeans. Good value for money especially as I purchased at sale price.

    Unfortunately these boots are much to big on my ankles and my feet just slop around the boot giving me blisters, I also found that after only walking a short distance my lower back and sciatica pain kicked off. Haven’t worn them since (once). This is with special insoles from my hospital.

    I rate them a 5* as I have not warn a Pair of boots so comfy for years. I have had three operations on my feet. Two on my right foot and 1 bigger op on my left foot 6months ago. These are the comfiest boots and quiet modern ones I have worn in long time. I am now looking for some smart comfy a little modern shoes for work I will be buying more. Xx

    I'm usually a size 6 but that proved too long in the foot with the Acre boot, so I reordered a size 5. I have fairly wide feet but I think the boots were designed for wider feet than mine. They have been very roomy to wear - I'm now wearing them with memory foam insoles and thick socks. Unfortunately, despite the roomy fit, there isn't quite enough space in the boots for the arch-support orthotics I'd hoped to wear (even without insoles), but the memory-foam soles are helping with my heel pain to some extent. I like them but I'm not sure I'd buy this fitting again.

    My first ever purchase from DB Wider Shoes and I couldn't be happier, both with the product and the service. Wish I'd found them sooner. The Acre is trendy, comfortable, and very easy to put on and take off. I initially ordered two different sizes and the suede on one pair was much smoother than on the other. I believe this is to be expected with suede and I liked the look of both, but ended up keeping the shaggier one. Time will tell how well they cope with the British winter.

    I love these comfy and very stylish boots. My only moan is that despite the fact that the zip is there to give you quick easy access in practice you have to undo the bow and unlace & lace up the final 3 fasteners because the laces fall off when you unzip and take them off. Should be simple holes which would stay in place.

    I have various medical conditions including Lipo-lymphedema and frequent episodes of gout... I have found this is the only style of boot I can possibly wear - even then often having to leave the ankle fastening undone! It's useful to be able to remove the insoles when necessary... Your boots are good to get the extra foot width but generally do not have enough room in the ankle area for those of us with lymphedema!
