The metal tag on one boot has come off- keep trying to press it back in.
The top eyelets that have metal fold downs make it impossible to thread laces through,so I am just hooking laces around these hence laces are not too secure at the top.

77 years old ,mobility a bit difficult,balance problematic. Winter weather coming and lots of rain at any time. Need highly waterproof,comfortable footwear with very good soles . Bit horrified when they arrived but oh boy did they fit the brief,and in spades and amazingly comfortable. Now roll on winter….lm ready.

Beautiful boots, Had to buy them! I have had several pairs of the similar style Bayeux over the last few years. These are a similar fit, just a little higher in the ankle. The laces do tend to need redoing every time on these as they fall off the hook type fastenings on the ankle which is my only negative point. I can't comment on wear yet but if they wear as well as the Bayeux I will be wearing them for several years.

I love these boots! I have to wear fairly chunky ankle braces, but they fit in these funky boots with no problem at all. I have had compliments from people I barely know about them, and they perform fantastically too. Walking the dog in wet grass without wet feet is great.
