    After the demise of Engage (which I wore constantly) I tried several similar shoes, hoping to find a perfect substitute. Hythe fits the bill, and the v-shape of the upper gives the shoe style and makes it look less 'clumpy'. Very comfortable, good grip (once worn a few times), forgiving of bunions and hammer toes, and I now wear these constantly!

    After wearing Engage for years, it took me a long time to find a substitute that was as good as Engage. These shoes come very close and accommodate my bunioned, hammertoed feet perfectly, although I find the soles more slippery. They are extremely comfortable, but I had to cut the strap and stick some more Velcro on it to make them fit - for others with swollen ankles/feet it is good to have the variation. I really do like the V-shape of the uppers, which makes them look elegant.

    These are comfortable although not as comfortable on the heels as the Winnipeg shoes. They look good and I love all the shoes that have stretch in them as I can usually get away with the 2v fit rather than the 6v. This works well as my heel is quite narrow compared to my very wide feet

    The shoe is cut a little higher at the front than is immediately comfortable for me. (I have one foot that becomes more swollen than the other due to a large amount of metal around the ankle) but with wear the shoe will strech to accomadate. As usual a very stylish shoe that will 'go anywhere. and as usual I am very satisfied.

    I have worn Engage shoes (as outdoor shoes with no problems) for years, so I was very disappointed when they were discontinued. I have been searching for a replacement and thought these would fit the bill. The straps were too long so stupidly I cut them before really trying out the shoes. There is now a shortage of Velcro! They are comfortable, but the style isn't as good as Engage - more 'clompy' but the soles are definitely worse: they do not have good grip in the wet and on tiles (e.g. kitchen) can be quite dangerous. The search continues.

    I chose the navy blue, its a lovely colour, really comfortable with lots of room for my toes and the strap is long enough to go around my large ankles. I've had so much trouble trying to find a good fitting shoe but these are excellent.
