I like these slippers and previously i have purchased several pairs of size 5 but the problem is that my shoe insoles reduce the space too much within the slipper. So I bought the size 6 slippers as i am between sizes using insoles and it is not possible to buy a 5.5. size. Wearing insoles in size 5 Pitsford slippers meant that the toes wore through continually. Unfortunately, the size 6 is a little too large and they flop about a bit which can be problematic and uncomfortable for me. However, the slippers are good quality and i would recommend them if you have arthritis as the strap stretches as the food swells.

The removeable insole could be thicker or spongier to provide more cushioned support it feels very hard and rubs a bit.
The strap could do with being longer for those whose feet are very swollen on the top it is hard to keep it fastened to the Velcro. Could the strap be more angled across the slipper? The material is very pretty, and one of nicest to look at. I have found it very hard to find the right footwear and feel yours is much better than others, but it needs a bit more cushioning inside to provide a springier movement and support for the foot arch is too flat.

A warm and comfortable slipper. Thiis type of sole tends tends to become smooth and slippy with wear in the house on the carpets. Our local cobbler says that nothing can be done to repair it. It can be dangerous coming downstairs. A pity as there is plenty of wear in the upper slipper. (have had slippers before with the same type of sole)
