    This is my first experience of buying shoes online. DElivery was prompt and well packed. The shoes do fit, which is the most important thing and I found your sizing system simple to use. I have kept them and will wear them from time to time.

    However, for very expensive shoes, they do not seem robustly made, though I haven’t worn them long enough to be sure about this. For example, the punched holes for the laces are not punched into the leather part - appears to be punched into plastic. Even more important, there are no protective rings round the holes to protect them from wear. I am concerned these holes may pull through, especially as they are very close together.

    It is a good idea to have a tag at the back of the shoe to help pull them on. However, the tags on these shoes are so small I cannot get my finger into the hole to pull on it. So in fact they are no help at all. (I have slim fingers so it’s not me that is unusual.) The soles also seem quite heavy, and the heel is built up for no obvious reason. I am used to wearing flat shoes so may adapt to this.

    I would not buy this shoe again, even though it fits.

    I initially had difficulty getting the perfect fit. My feet are wide with bunions but not swollen. This means that most shoes are loose across the top of my foot but comfortable around the toes. I have to either place more insoles in them or reposition any velcro on straps to get a snug fit. (A buckle fastening would be so much easier!) However once I've done all this the shoes have been extremely comfortable.

    needed a pair of black trainer for the winter, as was wearing white ones which D& P didn't do in black. Super comfy, bonus is gone down a size .Looks smart with any out fit, and takes my NHS orthotics brilliantly.

    I found the shoes Culver overall very good. Good materials and fit. Lovely quality and appearance, and they had the height which I desired and room for the top of my foot. However, they had two very important criticisms which I’m finding frustrating. One is that the tongues are too short, and the laces far too long. These two issues make them difficult to put on especially the short tongue, and the laces too long to keep safe. I need to contact Wider Fit Shoes to see if they have any shorter laces.
