    I have spent the last few months ordering shoes and sending them back because one width (with or without the extra sole) was too tight and the wider fitting too wide. This pair is now going back. The fit felt fine but even after wearing them around the house several times they still hurt at the back when I walked. Also the zips are so difficult to pull up or down. If I had decided to keep the shoes I would have just used the laces.
    Good news is that I have just gone mad and ordered 4 pairs of at size 3 2v. - Hythe, Petula, Owl and Firecrest. I can't believe it! They all fit perfectly and are comfortable all over. Just too good to be true. I now have a dilemma. Do I keep them all or send at least one back? Silly question. I must just make sure I rotate wearing them every few weeks. The non-easy entry Bridgetown shoes are going back.

    This is my second pair in this range. I also have the black patient. They are very comfortable to wear. I am still breaking this pair in for my orthotics. Eventually these will be as comfortable as my black ones. All in all I would recommend these shoes

    Extremely comfortable, warm and rainproof, and once the laces are adjusted these shoes are very easy to get on and off with a very good zip. The colour is smart but not gaudy. What more could you want? (Also have another pair in a different colour)

    These are most comfortable. I have a hammer toe and the soft top does not cause any pressure. They are my second pair from DB Shoes with the soft top - my only problem is forgetting about the zip and undoing the laces!! Old age!

    These are very comfortable and the combination of the zip and laces makes it much easier to get the right level of tightness and it is easy to adjust if needed. They are very good quality and they look very neat and smart. Whilst comfort is the most important thing to me, it is good to have shoes that are wider fit but which don’t look ungainly.

    I was disappointed with the shoes :
    I had measured the width of my upper feet :240 mm: and thought to buy a 6v ( size 4 ) would be correct due to bunions on both feet ; I had spoken with an adviser :
    The shoes feel far too big :I decided to persevere with them . I have put in my orthotics ( prescribed ) and other insoles and thick socks : to no avail : They still feel too big : At front and back :
    In future I will not by a pair of shoes without trying them on :

    Lovely fitting shoes, with ample room to cope with my foot problems - bunions and bent toes. The fastening is a bit gimmicky, as although the zip means you don't need to redo the laces with every wear, the shoe is still fiddly to put on, as the tongue needs adjusting every time and the small tab on the zip is difficult to hold with arthritic fingers. I'm also concerned that the soles won't last long - I get a lot of wear on the heels and this type of sole can't be repaired unlike the style I was wearing previously.

    On the whole I am pleased but I have difficulty getting the right size. I have tried different shoes in 7 (my usual size) and found it too short so got 8 in these and really they are a bit long. But I needed some as we were going on holiday and I wanted some to walk around exploring and these were fine.
