    As someone with size 10EE feet I am very pleased with the shoes overall. What a relief from the usual tight fitting, off the shelf, debilitating, foot deforming products generally sold in the shops As house shoes they work well. Having had them for several months they are showing no sign of wear or tear and are easy to get on and off. So good value for money I'd say.

    I bought the larger size 9 Cairo (my shoe size is 8+) in the hope that this would accommodate my orthotic insoles but it proved not to be the case; the fit is still not wide enough, although the length is more generous than I need. I wish that there were more broad fittings in casual shoes e.g. like the "Bob" shoe, which is a good fit in size 8. Perhaps "square-toe" fittings in slippers and casual shoes are not popular?

    Very comfortable when on but I'm not too keen on the raised edge at the back of the heel, which tends to fold in when I'm putting the slipper on, making it a bit harder to get my feet in as they are a bit on the swollen side and this is the largest size available.

    DB shoes have made my life so much more comfortable! As well as saving my paying VAT!

    The Cairo shoe is lightweight and apparently well made (I have not owned them long). I bought them to use as 'house shoes'. I use an orthotic insert and the shoe is still spacious. Because they are of smart appearance they have ventured beyond the threshold on more than one occasion.

    I am so pleased to discover a UK Company that make my 'flipper' width feet seem normal!
    I recommend them highly!
