The straps are a quite long and are really set for length at the maximum extension. Fir a less swollen foot the straps are a little long and stick out a bit and no easy ay to trim them. Doesn't really affect the usage - just the appearance. Hence 4 * for fit.
Overall though a lifesaver for comfort and ease of getting off and on. We have 2 pairs now in different colours

I do not like the very long straps.
The round toe shape is not really right for my feet. The big toe corner presses on my big toenail. The shape of Birkenstock shoes is ideal for my foot shape. Unfortunately their range is quite small.
I do not know how the shoe will wear. I haven't had it very long and I find I am rarely wearing it.

The surrounding flaps that go up and over the tongue do not come up and over very far. And the person's foot is not swollen, but normal in size here. If the Velcro were to come unstuck, the slipper would drop off.
The Velcro to which one sticks the tabs could also be one large piece instead of two bits which would give plenty of Velcro for the straps to stick on to and differing positions to place straps - practical but maybe not so aesthetic! And the straps could be wider giving more sticking area too. For me, I would not want the elastic on straps to be as long, (or not there at all - but for some people having the elastic serves a purpose).
Wish the sides around the heel came up a bit higher - the cut seems a bit low.
Positively the toe area is very rounded and spacious. And the heel is very stiff giving plenty of support and ease of getting on with the heel area bending in.

The elastic on the bar means my heel comes out of the shoe whenever it flexes however, so I end up shuffling a bit and my foot tends to slip to the front of the shoe. Unfortunately, the new design with longer elasticated straps are dangerous if she does not do them up correctly as the straps flop onto the floor so there is a risk of tripping over the straps. The earlier design with shorter stiffer straps did not drag on the floor and were a lot safer.

Having developed a couple of problems with my feet in recent years, (a bunion and flat feet, requiring full orthotics), I was pleased to discover DB shoes. I bought these in two colours to wear indoors, I am a great believer in not wearing traditional 'floppy' slippers and these give excellent support. I am able to fit my orthotics in them, which does add to the weight of the shoe making them a little on the heavy side, for indoor wear. I find the adjustable velcro straps useful too as my left foot, (bunion less), is narrower than my right. I have had them a few weeks now and they are wearing well, although the velcro is fraying slightly on one shoe. Generally , I am very pleased with them.

She has heavily bandaged feet, I chose the Eunice 6V for its width and depth, and confirmed by phoning DB for assurance. The shoes are easy access and with the insoles removed are far more roomy than they look. The long velcro straps take up the bulk of the bandages.

Still had problems fastening slipper and found I could not get extra Velcro bit. By chance we had set that came from previous widerfit shop bought shoes. Slippers now wearable but not very glamerous so I may try to cover strip to match.
Over all its just good to eventually get something that is wearable.

These 'house shoes' are fantastic. They fit well and support my feet like a leather shoe. They are extremely comfortable and I would be devastated if they were ever discontinued. I have been buying these for many years and haven't found any thing comparable elsewhere.
They take an orthotic insole well and although I have a very high instep the velcro accommodates this superbly. Can't say anything bad a bout them. Except they are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

These indoor shoes are really comfortable. The only problem I have with them is the same as with the Naomi shoes. The tongue goes under when I slip the shoe on as I cannot reach to pull it up. I find if I put the tongue between the two straps before slipping my foot into it, I stand more chance of the tongue staying where it should be. Once the shoes are on, they are perfect.

Lovely house shoe and quality is good however does not allow the use of orthotic with it as advertised. The Velcro straps are too short meaning the foot is squashed and the insole that can be removed is so thin it makes no difference. We could not use with her leg orthotic splint.

Very disappointed in these house shoes. I think they are very heavy not comfortable to wear to relax. Insoles crease up and are too flimsy.The part that comes up at the front of the shoe is not wide enough and creases easily, the straps are too short. The seams are not comfortable inside the shoes. Now it looks as if seams on the outside are starting to come apart.<br />

This purchase was made as an alternative to a style of walking shoe I had ordered, but found gave me too little acess for my wide feet. I particularly chose the Eunice model as I do need the access that two straps provides, but the left shoe is too constricting over my little toe area because the fitting is not sufficiently broad. There are no house shoes/slippers in an 8E fitting, and the 6E(V) does not give the space needed by my 8E size requirements. Removing the top inner sock still failed to give the comfort I have in my usual shoes. . I am sure that if slippers were available in a full 8E fitting I would not have had this problem. I would not recommend anyone who normally takes 8E to buy a 6E-8E(V) As a product, the quality, and value for money was good - but not for me! Icannot rate performance as I have not been able to wear them enough - they appear to be well made.

As my fitting is 8E as I have an orthotic splint I had to use the strap extensions from my shoes(which I didn't need for them) on these shoes.They are very comfortable now but perhaps you could either make the tongue slightly wider and the straps longer or include strap extensions with each pair.

At first try, NOT wearing my splints, these slippers were comfortable and lovely and warm. The construction was apparently good, as I expected. I then tried them whilst wearing my drop-foot splints. Normally, with shoes in this size and fitting, I simply remove the inner sole provided, replace that with my splints which have inners with an arch support, put them on and all is well. Unfortunately doing this did not really work. The seam which runs from the sole outer side, near the toe, backwards and upwards towards the end of the strap, is very solid and 'ungiving', if you know what I mean. Consequently it presses hard on the fourth and little toes. I seem to need a deeper toe box. I do wear the slippers in the evening, with long thick wool socks but with no splints, and they're nice and warm. OK if I sit don't need to walk about, but if I do I need a stick and a husband! I my order another pair next winter, in a 6E fitting. PS I think they were Sale price, so good value!

I have been lloking for a shoe to fit my wife's problem foot for months. wider fit shoes was recommended by the chiropodist. The fitting chart supplied online gave an excellent fitting. My wife has been able to walk without hobbling for the first time in a couple of years. Her foot still hurts but she is no longer afraid to try going for a walk. It has only been a month but the soles are still unmarked. I will be buying more shoes from wider fit shoes.

Bought these for an elderly aunt. Originally ordered the EE size but had to exchange for the 6E fitting even though she does not suffer from swollen feet. (The foot sizer should really be followed exactly!!!!) These are lovely slippers and my aunt loves the colour. She hasn't worn them yet as she is waiting to see a physiotherapist to arrange for one of them to be built up. They do seem well made and sturdy enough for this.

The shoes are for my wife and she finds them very comfortable and easy to put on. They are also quite good looking. As she has a rather broad foot we feel it would have been advantageous for the securing straps to be about half an inch longer so that slightly more of the velcro fastening is active. Nevertheless we are very pleased with the product.
