Bit to soft & flexible to be called a walking boot, these are more like a canvas Baseball boot. My main concern is there is no support at all at the back of the heel, it just folds up when putting your foot in, there is no stiffness.

These shoes are excellent if you suffer from claw toes. I bought the 6V which give extra height on the toes and hence don't impact on my toes. They are of excellent quality and have a smart appearance. They are extremely comfortable to wear as I have several issues with my feet including PTTD. My orthotics fit well in the boots. So happy I found them!

My problem with this boot is the laces and the way the laces are treaded thru the boot. Firstly, the lace is too big for the eyes and doesn't move easily and therefore it is difficult to tighten the laces. The quality of the laces is such that I have to use a double bow knot to stop the laces constantly coming undone. The boot always becomes lose after wearing for 20 minutes or so. The sole doesn’t offer good traction, I used these on a 5 day hike and wish I had left them at home.

Having bought two pairs of walking boots from two different shops and returned them both because of their tight fit, I thought that I would try DB. I am normally a size 11 but because of DB having wider fittings I took a chance and ordered size 10. While waiting for delivery I kept telling myself I should have ordered a size 11. BUT size 10 were perfect. They came with two pairs of inner soles, one thicker than the other, so room to play with. My perseverance paid off. Very happy.
